Someone on our team said the roller racing room smelled like a men’s locker room. No offense to the women who raced, but it did. That’s a good thing. It brings back such fond memories. Or not. But that’s another story.

Speaking of another story, how about team River City Bicycles? Where did all that hair come from?

And thank you Rapha, for sponsoring the competition. You raised the bar on cycle clothing and now, the bar on indoor sports that include costumes (beyond the lycra we usually wear), beer (a whole lot of it), hair (a whole lot of it) and general Portlandness (a whole lot of it).
